I am glad that you have entered my website and I hope I can help you get your health back!
I have always been interested in how the human body works, and that is why I studied physiotherapy at the Gimbernat University School (2002-2005) and later, I graduated in osteopathy at the Barcelona School of Osteopathy-European School of Osteopathy (2009-2013).
I speak Spanish, Catalan or English and a little bit of Dutch.
How can I help you?
Rehabilitation and prevention
I have more than 11 years of experience in rehabilitation treatments, and I have specialized in trauma physiotherapy and prevention while working at mutual insurance companies such as FREMAP and CYCLOPS.
Sports physiotherapy
I have extensive experience in sports physiotherapy. In addition to having worked for 5 seasons as a football physiotherapist at the RCD Espanyol Football Club, Barcelona, I also spent 4 years working at the Unificació Llefià football club in Badalona.
I am passionate about sports and I usually practice trail running and mountain sports. I also played tennis at a competitive level during my childhood and adolescence. I have always felt very comfortable in sport environments because of the values of sacrifice and endurance that it represents.
Osteopathy
After a few years working as a physiotherapist, I decided to start studying osteopathy, to complement some of the limitations I experienced as a physiotherapist. The study of Osteopathy is a long journey of learning and self-knowledge and has helped me to open up to other approaches and broader visions of the concept of health.
Since I finished my studies in June 2013, I have been working as an osteopath at a private level for more than 4 years. To further deepen and expand my knowledge in osteopathy, I am currently doing a specialization course in Craniosacral Biodynamic Osteopathy at Healtharoundus (4th level), which I started in 2015.
Continuing education
I believe that one should never stop learning to improve as a therapist and as a person. And that’s why I’ve never stopped studying and trying to improve at a professional level. In the last years I have done the following courses:
- 2007: Myo-aponeurotic Crochetage at EUIFN Blanquerna
- 2008: Kinesiotaping course by Rehab Medic
- 2008: Manipulation and myotensive techniques course at CAR, Sant Cugat by David Ponce and Miquel Àngel Cos Morera
- 2013-2014: Advanced courses in myofascial techniques, elecrotherapy and functional bandage in musculoskeletal injuries at FREMAP
- 2017: Course in dry needling and conservative treatment of myofascial pain syndrome (myofascial trigger points) at Fisiofocus
- 2018-2019: SAT (specific adjustment technique) by FIOS FORMACIO
